Scenario:
Nurse M and Nurse C have been working on a research project studying the incidence of hospital-acquired infections in the nursing unit. Nurse M learns that while Nurse C is interviewing the research participants, he failed to obtain informed consent on two of the participants but proceeds with the interviews. Nurse M also discovers that while interviewing, Nurse C invents and answers when he is unable to get one during the interview and passes it off as truthful data collection.
